Here's how awesome you guys are...
Last night Shell and I were talking about people we haven't spoken to since we left. Jeff's name came up and I mentioned that I would call him sometime this week, which I still plan on doing but would you look at how great mind readers we all are, I get on here and he updated us on his life. Beautiful! If that wasn't beautiful enough here's part of a conversation Shell and I had last night...
Shell: this is what friendship is man, people who honestly care about the well being of others. it's beautiful.
Me. i think that's love.
Another quick story you all might enjoy...last weekend I was home for Labor Day because I felt like since I hadn't seen my parents all summer I should spend some time with them. So we were sitting on our deck and my Dad said something that triggered a story from my Mom. My Mom works in the great state of New Jersey so she clearly has to cross the bridge to get to and from each day and you have to pay at toll when you are coming back to Pennsylvania. So she is driving across the bridge and she gets to the toll to pay her 75 cents and the person working at the tollbooth tells my Mom that she doesn't have to pay because the car in front of her paid my Mom's toll too; they said "have a great holiday weekend" I thought it was beautiful and made me smile and remember how great people can be!
So after some stories I guess an update on my life is in order. I miss you all like crazy! Being back at school has been super hard, not only do I miss you guys but I've jumped right back into my crazy stressful life, and I'm not sure if everyone is aware of the issue that I have where I cannot say no! It is a horrible problem that my new boss is trying to get me out of. Whether it can be done or not is to be seen. On Monday I started spending time in the Chapel each day to keep my sanity. It has been really good and I am super glad I started going. I am currently trying to figure out the difference between what my head is saying and what my heart is saying. It is pretty hard but I'm working on it.
In other news, as I sit here and type this the Plover's are having a little family bonding. My brother Brian came from from Iraq last Monday. It has been awesome seeing him. It sucks that I am at school and can't just take off to hang out with him. My niece Caitlyn is walking and currently running after my brother Sean. She is a true essence of innocence, I love it. Caitlyn likes to dance too or just spinning around in circles. She was standing in our living room and just started spinning which made me think of the numerous times I stood in the middle of the big room and just stood there spinning. I think I am just 15 months at heart!
That is my life as of now. It'll change soon, promise! Some of you may get a phone call from me this week! Unfortunately, I am not Superwoman so I can't get everyone. Speaking of Superwoman! I saw the Dark Knight for the 4th time. It was still awesome.
Peace, Love, & Seminary Cookies!
Mopus!
PS! I can't believe I almost forgot this! So on Wednesday I was at work in Campus Ministry and we were picking music for Mass today and we picked We Are Called and I got sad because I wasn't going to be there. So my parents and brother and I went to mass this morning and I went to open to see what the last song was and wouldn't you know it was We Are Called! I got insanely happy and my Mom looked at me funny and I thought of you all.
