Hangin' Round...

Whatup, ya'll. I'm currently chatting with Carolyn on Facebook and it got me thinking that I should probably write on the blog.

So things have been going well. After a hard semester, I've taken on an easier workload this semester. Christine and I are doing well, she just recently had her 21st birthday. We had a wonderful valentine's day together as well: I planned a little scavenger hunt for her around Campus, and she took us out to build-a-bear to build little animals for each other. It was super cute, and she's wonderful as usual.

This semester I've reapplied myself to working for Justice at SJU. I've taken on more hours as a Community Service Intern and I'm planning on starting a SOFIA group at SJU! This is exciting news for the Community Service program because we've been trying to get people to be more reflective about their service. Our first meeting is towards the end of March, so say some prayers!

I'm also leading a retreat called Search that's for upper classmen. I've written my talk, and I'm extremely proud of it. It's one of the most truthful things I've ever written. It's about accepting the death of my mom and the changes that it brought in my life. It's also about how my life is a journey, and how the concept of "finding" one's self is just an illusion because the Self is always present. It's more a of a "knowing" yourself.

That's about it from SJU. Sean's coming to speak here in March which is exciting. I hope all of you are well! I always think of you and miss all of you!
