So, I just wanted all of you to know that I officially survived my first Homecoming dance as a teacher. I had to break up a few hot and heavy couples, but other than the police having to show up once, it was uneventful. It was hard not to dance and get crazy--gosh, I miss our dance parties--and they didn't play the Cuban Shuffle, but it was fun nonetheless.
I have been a teacher now for about seven weeks, and I really miss sweatpants. I'm not kidding. Just in case any of you were unaware, when you grow up you have to dress up and look nice EVERY DAY. Yes, for some jobs you can wear jeans on Friday, but you still have to wear a nice shirt and make your hair look nice. It's a lot of work! All joking aside, I do love teaching. The students are great. I get to do math problems every day, and I even get to practice taking the ACT all the time (one of the classes I teach is an English ACT Prep). What more could you want in a job?
I don't really like living at home, but I don't have a paycheck, so I can't justify moving out. I'm on the look-out though for any place with cheap rent. My younger brother just moved out, so now it's just my parents and I at home. We play a lot of Scrabble.
I miss all of you all the time, and I think about you often. We sang "We Are Called" at mass last week, and I really missed the part where Tumnus and Meg repeat that one part of the chorus where it says "tenderly." It's just not the same.
I was wondering the other day about a possible reunion though. Are we having one? If we are, I should probably buy my plane tickets now. I would LOVE to get together with everyone. I really don't care where, but a place ticket is in my budget. I REALLY want to travel somewhere to see you all over Christmas break. Who usually organizes that type of thing?
Anyway, I should go. I'm sorry if this message seems to jump from random thought to random thought. Blame it on the stress. I love you all! God bless!

"I get to do math problems every day".... very interesting. Isn't it good that everyone has different talents. Haha.
About the reunion, anyone can organize that. If you want to do it, don't wait for anyone else cause otherwise it'll never happen. And you're responsible, so I think you're a great choice. You might email someone at the seminary (Brain, Sean, or Chris) and ask them if people would be able to stay there sometime for the reunion. Otherwise, you can organize whatever you want. Oh, so much power. :)
Good to hear from you. Keep those kids in line. Peace.
