You know what I've realized lately? People don't like hugging. It surprises me because I got so used to hugging and now it is gone. I try and hug people and either they don't hug back or just don't like it. Maybe I'll have Wid come to give people hugging lessons like we did with Ryan...
Something else that I have been thinking about....I'm taking a marriage and sexuality so it is clearly about those 2 things but in class when we talked about agape, but it is very much talked about as only being a love between a couple. What about us single people? I believe we can all have agapic love. Speaking of love, in Franciscan Studies today we were talking about Francis' desire to love everyone. My professor was like, is that even possible these days?[Michelle, this is what I needed to tell you and then forgot about!!]. It is man, it is. It is certainly hard, but I feel like it can be done. I clearly fall short on this issue because the other day I was angry at my parents and questioned how people like Mother Teresa, Gandhi and Martin Luther King loved everyone.
Oh, love =]
Anyway, today is October 1st. I'm sitting at work and somehow I made my way to the Leaderworx website and it kind of hit me that 4 months ago this all started. I can't help but realize how different and better my life is because of this summer. I am also being stalked by all of you. I swear I think about something worx related everyday. It truly makes me smile to think about that Sunday 4 months ago and see how different we are. To see how much we as individuals have changed but also how we as a group have changed. Like right now, I'm flashing back to the first day when we sat outside and threw the frisbee around and just talked. I couldn't imagine then that 3 months later we would be tye dying t-shirts in that same spot. I hope you all know how awesome you are and how much I love you and how much you have impacted my life for the better. You make me smile even when we are in different states!
Andd, it is Wednesday! I hope everyone is enjoying their yellow shirts. I wore mine twice this week because it is soo awesome! Oh, oh! I sent Chris Davidson my address in hopes that he will send me some seminary cookies, if there are any left I'll send them to you guys!!
Love, love love love love, love, love, love, love, loveeeee you all!
